PATIENT SAFETY IS OUR TOP PRIORITY
Charter Radiology is Open and Keeping Everyone Safe
Since the very start of the COVID-19 pandemic, Charter Radiology has remained open and committed to caring for the community in the safest possible manner. Our safety measures go above and beyond the strictest CDC guidelines to ensure that every patient and staff member who comes through our doors remain healthy.
Patient Safety is our #1 priority.
In addition to our standard safety measures and stringent sanitizing processes, we are taking extra steps to ensure the health of our community.

Daily Screening
Upon arrival, every patient will have a temperature check to ensure they are fever-free. All staff members are also checked daily for signs and symptoms of any illness, including COVID-19.

Masks, Please!
Patients are required to wear a mask or appropriate face covering to help prevent the spread of COVID-19. If you do not have a mask, we will provide one for you. All staff members wear personal protective gear including masks, scrubs/disposable gowns, and gloves for safety

Sanitizing and Disinfecting
Our disinfecting processes exceed all guidelines. All doors, furniture, and the reception area are sanitized throughout the day. Our MRI and CT machines are always wiped down and thoroughly sanitized after every patient. Floors and exam/treatment rooms are disinfected daily.

Wash Your Hands
Hand sanitizer is readily available throughout our center. Our staff washes their hands frequently and uses hand sanitizer before and after every patient encounter. Clean hands save lives!

Physical Distancing
To maintain social distancing, only one patient at a time is allowed in our waiting area and exam rooms. We ask that all patients wait in their cars until their appointment time to avoid unnecessary exposure to others. Please call once you have arrived for your appointment and a staff member will register you and then come get you.
If you have flu or cold-like symptoms such as a cough with fever, or newly developed shortness of breath, please call us at 443-917-2855 to reschedule your appointment as recommended by the CDC. We will require a two-week waiting period for an appointment if you have traveled outside of the country, or if you have been in contact with someone who is ill with the virus.
